Hello ranapratab,
Just simply ignore what they post on the online status at New Delhi. Absolutely disorganized bunch and the online status is rarely if ever, correct.
Just go by the average processing times given on the main website for that specific outpost, and enjoy life in the meantime.

Need your help for the wait time details:

Current status on CIC webpage:
-------------------
Wait time for parents to be sponsored out side Canada is:
41 months
(working on applications received on August 29, 2007)
Source: CIC website

When I click on Country and then India it says:
Processing Times IN MONTHS: 30
-----------------

What does this mean?
-Total process time from the day you apply in Canada to when case is completed in India is 41 months?
OR
41 months in Canada then 30 in India: Total 71 months?

My parents are visiting us and are with us here in Toronto. In the meantime, we have received medical papers and request for Police Clearance Certificate from India (we had done an address change, so the documents are received in Toronto). Completing medical is not an issue. I understand that we can apply for PCC at the Indian Consulate in Toronto. Has any one had experience with this process and please advise.
