Dear CDs,
I would like to obtain CAIPS note.
I have following question before I order CAIPS note.
"Do I need to sing the same consent form that is signed by my parents or do I need to attach separately signed consent form to obtain CAIPS note"?
Thanks
Ecom

Hi all CD's
I have been following this forum for quite a long time and it is very helpful to all the desis here....
Anyhow here is my dilemma and I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light as what would be my best option.....
Canadian embassy in new Delhi has sent a PPR last week for both my father and mother..... but my father's Indian passport is expiring in March 2009 ( so technically he cannot travel as per the airlines rule they ask passport to be valid more than 6 month b4 anyone can fly internationally)..So we are thinking to get a TATKAAL passport done b4 submitting to the embassy for canadian landed visas..OR should we simply submit the passports and God willing if they stamp the passports in few weeks/month then apply for a TATKAAL passport for my father...Does that make sense?? or will Canadian embassy cause problems sayin that the passport is expiring soon and ask us to renew the passport 1st.??
PPR submission time line is 60 days from Oct 15th 2008 till Dec 15th 2008
Tatkaal passport can take anywhere between 15-35 days....
Gimme ur suggestion but asap please i need to know......time is of essence...
Appreaciate ur time to reply as well.....![]()
OK here's the update......so far......
Submitted the passports for my parents to New Delhi Canadian Embassy by 1 day Courier on 8th December 2008 and the embassy called us back in India to say that they received the passports on 17th Dec 2008 (usually they don't do that) even though the passport (courier package) was delivered to the door guard at the Delhi embassy on 8th Dec 2008 it took nearly a week to reach the appropriate person and acknowledge the receipt of the passports. So I would appreciate if any one know updates on time line as when the visa may be issued?? As i have been noticing that in the last quarter of 2008 new applicants have gotten their passports stamped roughly in abt 4 weeks time...from the time they submitted the passport to the embassy....Any thoughts/ suggestion would be greatly appreciated.....
