i did not read about any cases with dependents forwarded to Ottawa... but i read about cases without dependents forwarded to a local office...

According to CIC Call centre agent Files are being transferred to ottawa in order to process them faster, as there is lot of backlog of files in this category at New delhi office. But at the end all files will be transferred to New Delhi for Final Decision on the application.

not only India files are being transferred to Ottawa... there are about 200 applications in my local office - and my file was transferred to Ottawa...

there is a separate quota for Ottawa office - it might mean that Ottawa will make final decisions and local office will only stamp visas...

We have sponsor parents in Aug 2007.

Medical completed - Its been almost three months passed but no reply nor status change on cic website.

We have already submitted passport along with medical -
generally after medical , if everything goes good then people get visa withing 60-90 days.

Is there anyone else here waiting for more then 3 months ?
Should i send parents to Delhi to ask for Visa ?

Don't put your parents the hassle of going to Delhi. The visa will arrive, you have to be patient.

I know a couple of families whose parents got visa in 5 months and 6 months respectively after sending the passports to New Delhi, in the past few months.

If you do not get the stampled passports after 6 months, start faxing them an inquiry letter every day, until you get a response.

I would suggest you to talk to your MP, so that he can find out what is going on .
