Yes, if you have an history of loosing mails .. then yes, you should contact CIC. I'll prefer phone - if there is.

Yes, medicals done in June 2008 & I'd posted when it was done and have updated the timelines at http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/family-class/.

e-Client status has not yet been updated though.

I have noticed that the In-Canada Processing Time has gone up to 25 months. It has fluctuated between 22 and 27 months over the last year or so. Ever since the new rules were announced, the processing time has started creeping up. There is probably a good chance that it might go to 36 months over the next year or so before your application is approved in Canada.
