Hello,
I put in an application to sponsor my parents in may 2008 and received an acknowledgement of the application. I checked the status on the cic website and read that they are currently processing applications received upto May 24, 2007. So I checked my application process on the ecas on cic website and it showed that they started processing my application from 25 feb 2010. so i am confused that wheather the process has just begun or how long that process will take?
as per the timeline of may24 2007. may be in jan/feb2011

The timeline will still be Jan/Feb 2011. Regardless of what it says on the e-CAS, you will get the sponsorship approval only after 33 months (if it stays at that period)
I just checked my E-case status for sponser my parents and status says they started processing my application from 11feb 2010.

one more query
wheather i will have to show the lower income cut off (anual income)for this year or they can ask for the same before that i.e. before 33 months processing time. if they ask for income proof on sept. this year then how i will have to manage that(LICO).as i am managing this successfully for the last 2 years.
please reply
How do you check the E-CAS ?.
My sponsporship application is pending in Mississauga since December 2007.

I have submitted the initial financial sponsporship application to the Mississauga office in the month of December 2007 and received a standard response in January 2008. There are two numbers below the support service agenst HSA in the back page and one is a 9 digit number and other is a 9 digit number with a C prefix in front.
Do these number mean anything ?.

I tried entering with my landing papers the client ID and also document Number and later with my citizenship certificate number.
It is not letting me log in and the following message is coming:
We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:
Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it.
