Minj - That's interesting. I wasn't aware that some visa offices had this requirement.

I am in the process of applying for CAIPS note. Did any CDs who ordered this note through CAIPSNOTE.COM visited their Brampton Office?

Hello everyone,

1. Does my father have to submit copy of his diploma, high school certificate or University diploma as to support the application that he filled out?

I know that my brother has to because we have show that my brother is still my father's dependent.

2. My mother is passed away a while ago. On the application for permanent resident and additional family application... should I put my mother's name as his spouse and then write "deceased" for the rest of the questions?
Or should I just cross the entire column and write deceased?

Thanks in advance

To answer your query:
1). If the document has specifically been asked for then submit it. Else check if it is listed in the application kit checklist. If still not present, then you can give it a skip. No harm in sending a photocopy if it helps though.
2). I would suggest write the name and then put 'Deceased' after the name.

Next steps would be:
CHC, Delhi will start processing. The will send details asking for the medical exam and/ or more documents from your parents to process the application.

Current time-line for Asia is at this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/08-fc-parents.asp#asia [5 to 33 months].
