NEWSFLASH:

I just learnt that CIC, Mississauga is rechecking the files of the sponsors for parents/grandparents of those who are self-employed. They are asking for all the "C" printouts since 2007 and scrutinizing them. Not so much problems with employed T-4 cases.

Hi All,

just an update, I submitted my parents docs in early Feb, and now when i go to CIC website to check the status, it shows that they have received my docs, and its under processing.

Not sure what it means, or how long its going to take. But atleast they confirmed that they have received it.

Origionaly I had submitted application in November 2007.

I sent requested forms and application in Jan 2012 but there is no update. Online status not updated. It indicates received application November 2007.

Anyone got an update after submitting requested forms in last two months?

I submitted application to sponser my parents in December 2008. CIC has requested few forms in November 2011.

I have submitted requested form to CIC on January 31st 2012 , got a letter from CIC In last week of Februay 2012 stating that I am eligible to sponser my parents and file has been transffered to Ottawa Pilot Immigration.

On March 19,2012 I received an email from Ottawa Pilot immigration requesting to submitt medical examination reports and police clearance certificate of my parents.

How many days do you have to submit the medical examination and police clearance?

i was given 30 days for medicals and 60 days for PCC

hello

I have a question are they only forwarding files to OTTAWA for who do not have any dependant on their file or it depends?
