Hi

I have applied for Permanent residence in Canada under Skilled Worker category in July 2002, and I received the receipt for the same on
September 2002. So far I haven’t received any letter regarding my application status from the Immigration section.

In online e-case application status it shows that, my file is IN PROCESS.
I am very much worried about the status of my application. I sent a fax also to Canadian High Commission - Delhi - but no feedback yet.

Kindly clariffy the below mentioned doubts.

** What's the processing time schedule for Skilled workers, who applied in September 2002?

**How long i have to wait to get my medical kit?

**If in case any delay in sending the medical kit they'll waived off an interview?

I would be grateful if you could help me in this situation by giving your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Rgds,
Sai Manikandan R

It's too early to expect anything at this point for your file.

You may have to wait another 24-30 months

Hi Mr. Massood

Thank you very much for your valuable and timely feedback. My friend and myself applied simultaneously. Luckily he got his medical kit and an interview has been waived off for him. We both are in same designation (System Administrator - IT). Why this much partiality in CHC?

What would be the processing duration altogether? My friend, who is in Toronto, told me that duration would be 15 months from the date applied. Is it true?

Immigration alone it'll take more than three years from the date applied? Is there any way to speed up the process? My file is already one year and four months old again i have to wait for two to two and half years isn't it?

In application i had mentioned that my family friend will receive me in airport and i had given his address too. Do i have any priority for this option in application?

Kindly clarrify my above said doubts please.

Thanks in advance again.

no partiality. depends on thh speed of the officer dealing with your case.
must be two different officers

Hi Mr. Massood

I can get CAIPS notes to find out my application status. Is it worth? What's the CAIPS notes nature of job. How does it affects our application? They'll let's know everything about our application status !? Kindly advise me in this regard.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Rgds,
Mani.

Hi saimanikandan,
Your enquiry is bit confusing to me. Did ur freind who apply with u also apply thorugh New delhi port. Or he applied from buffalo port. As u r mentioning freind from toronto.
What I have get know about CAIPS, they are not that benifical in the beginning until first review. U can do some of the extra initative, like giving them latest raised salary slip + promotion mail if any. Apart from the assumption that u have provided IELTS score with more than 7 score plus filled new format forms.
Hope this help. In case u r able to get HRDC letter for job offer then nothing like that. But it is diffcult for IT professional.

Dear Mr. Joomratty,

U have mentioned in your response above that some immigration officers cud be clearing the files faster than the others. I received my AOR within 2 weeks (9 days to be precise), so is that due to a "fast" officer ? Can I get excited about being on the "fast track"? Also does only one officer process the file during all the stages or does the file go to different sections. Please let me know...... this cud really give me something to look forward to.

Thank u.
