Don't worry about that one it takes 15 business days. We also in the same situation when i check with my lawyer he said that it took 15 business days or 4 weeks without including Easter holidays. We are also regularly checking the return one. Offcourse we sended by USPS ok.

Only thing to do is Pray God !

FedEx is just fine. It took exactly 30 elapsed days in my case. If it is of any comfort, stop worrying (if that is an option at all ). Start praying if you don't already!

I finally got my Passport back this morning.

Since a week after my passport reached Buffalo, I have been religiously tracking the FedEx website daily. Just today, after reading all your posts for my query, when I tracked it online, to my amazement and definitely surprise, what I saw was a sheer delight to my eyes: I saw that the shipment left Buffalo last night and the passport was on its way to me on the Santa Fe Springs location. Whoa! What a great thing this meant for me. Now you have to understand that I come from a family where my father had lost a passport way back in 1985 in India and since then I have grave fears of losing my passport, so got to understand me there!!

So Here's my complete Timeline:

Sent papers to file: March 18th 2004
Acknowledgement Rec'd: April 13th 2004
Waiver of Interview &
Medical Instructions Letter: November 12th 2004
Medicals Rec'd by Ottawa: January 11th 2005
Other Documents Sent: February 9th 2005
Visa Issuance & PP Request: March 8th 2005
Passport Sent: March 15th 2005
Passport Received: March 31st 2005
