What do you guys advise: Should we fill our Canadian address as mailing address or our parents mailing address in India.

I have seen people putting canadian address, that will be fine. It may increase the chances of file being transferred to Ottawa but not guaranteed. We have mixed responses on where the file is transfered. No confirmed factors. If anyone knows the factors affecting the file transfer decision please reply.

Depends, if your parents are stable and can quickly respond to the queries, if any put their address. But personally I reallly liked the option that they provided to put Canadian address as I can quickly scan the document and won't mind sending courier to parents if it is too urgent.

Additional Family Information (Form 5406E) -

I understand we need to fill this form for both parents separately (information like mother, father, sisters, brother, etc.). Does it mean in one form my father will be applicant while in another form my mother will be applicant (it does not matter who is principal applicant). Can somebody please confirm?

You got it. One form will be filled by your father as an applicant and one for mother as an applicant, regardless of who is principal applicant..if there are dependents, they also need to fill it up.
