The logic(behind the govts behaviour) is quite apparent to me.

I do not want to guess what the govt is trying to prove/show inspite of its actions...however, its your right to draw any conclussion which supports your theory of a 'hidden motive' and whatever else.

I would not want the govt forcing me to hire anyone either so I think its a good thing that they are not doing so.

However, I'm still curious of Madrasis conclussion that all this is 'systematic racism'. Unless ofcourse he is convinced of the same 'hidden motives' in which case I have nothing else to say.

BL I do not find myself in a position to comment on this as I have been to only three countries and Canada is not better or worst than those. But I am more concerned about Canada as this is my new home. Countries where I use to live were not my home countries so I did not bother much about racism.

Racism in Canada may affect my family's future considerably and that bothers me. Sometime even “least” racism can become “too much” for some people, isn’t it?

I thought you said that the govt of canada WANTS TO SHOW the rest of the world right? Has the govt explicitly mentioned that their efforts to ensure equal emp opportunity are all just a scam? If they are hiding their true motives i would call it a hidden motive. Or do you want to clarify that sentence?

Hey Jake, do not jump on conclusions

. This is not a hidden motive, by doing this Government wants to show rest of the world (especially to the UN) that they believe in “equal opportunity employment” and they try their level best to enforce it, I hope it must be clear now?

us lesser mortals ocassionally do jump to wild conclussions. So where exactly did the govt put up the information that they are doing all this for Show(to the world and the UN)? Or do we just have to take your word for this? Forgive me for not understanding....just let your brilliance shine

No Jake you don't have to take my words... did you ever filled up that paper Madrasi is talking about? If yes you might have received one letter with the form explaining why your employer need this information.

And if not.. than do some research and you will find your answer
