Does anyone knows how much time could it take to obtain a PCC from Indian consulate? Anyone in the similar situation ever?

My frieng got it recently for his mil.

It took altogether 3 weeks from date of application to receipt in TO.

Actually they suggest this but it is not important now.

Ok just got the letter saying that we met the requirement and application has been forwarded for "furhter processing" So fingers crossed.

Keep in mind that PCCs are valid for 3 months only...
Its fine if it passes 3 months after the submission of your PCC to CIC....
But you can not submit a PCC that is already 3 months old....
So plan accordingly..
In the worst case, you may have to re-apply for PCC.

Just trying to figure out on basis files are being transferred to Ottawa or native country... Do you have dependants in application ?
