you are right, my file has been transfered to New Delhi nad no update or any request from CIC - New Delhi.

Hi,

Is there a way to obtain PCC and go through the medicals by being in Canada itself? My parents are here and they have their tickets already booked for September this year. Any suggestions, how to go about it in case I receive their PCC/Medicals requests in the coming weeks while they are already here?

On 25 Nov 2011 they sent all applicants new forms to be filled. Since you have received a reply from CIC, I was wondering when you replied back to CIC. Was it in Jan 2012 or Feb 2012?

I still havn't received anything so far ...

YOu do not need to worry about this becos before sept you will recieve an email from ottawa seeking medical and PCC. If they are in india now, there is no harm in getting PCC done becuase that will be valid for a year. This is my guess....depends upon your documentation......

My online status has two records now for some strange reason - both say application received but the second one also says "PR Status: Application received"

Not sure what this means but sharing with everyone.

Your new status will be changed very soon with two lines one " application recieved and other line with "Decision Made".
