No dependants. I think so far RBO's argument makes sense. Other than that they might be tossing the coin...you never know what these guys might do..

did you put correspondence address as a Canada or India?

Actually that's not the case, people who put Indian mailing labels has their file transferred to Ottawa.

I would the believe the argument stand strong for those who either a)have no dependents or b) if the folks have visited Canada in the past

If you parents never visited before, you can scratch part b for sure

Don't loose your hopes, I know how much you want your parents to be here soon..especialy based on how quickly you turned the forms around. You never know that under new pilot processing, the applications in India might get processed sooner.
Lets keep fingers crossed. Based on Sanchita's responses, I am sure there are many of her like mindeds in processing center which could do everything possible to slow/stop the process.

In my case,

No dependents....only parents

Parents visited in Canada for visitor visa on last year and they stayed here for 5 months.

No idea how CIC is reacting with individual files? i.e. send file to Ottawa or home country for further process....

cross the fingure and all the best to all of us..

any latest update.....

Does anyone get any update from CIC for which file has transferred to Ottawa or India visa Office?

anyone here in forum get Medical examination request for parents from CPC - Ottawa or not?

on other forum some of them already received e-mail from CIC to go for Medical examination.
