Just looked at requirements For PIO and OCI for my own application and it clearly mentions , if anyone ever acquired citizenship of Pak, or Bangladesh , they are not eligible for PIO and OCI...

Ur mother need to get a visitors visa which is not hard to get, once there she can keep extending or stay illegally.

Thank you all for all the useful information.

I would like to ask if anyone knows of any lawyers in Maharashtra that could do asylum/citizenship & naturalisation claims within India.

We figured that the only entry is by a visitor visa but once in we will have problems with the CID until my mother receives her passport or citizenship.

Your mother will spend the rest of her natural life trying to get through the process..

Best to stay on quietly.. Indian police can be paid off pretty easily..
