Updates for those whose files are transferred to New Delhi
Followings are the updates for my timeline.
Application sent on June – 2008
Additional documents requested from M’sauga office – November 4th week – 2011
Documents sent to M’sauga office – February 2nd week – 2012
File transferred to Delhi – May 3rd week – 2012
AOR (Acknowledgement letter) received from Delhi – June 4th week – 2012
Medical, PCC & Passports requested from Delhi – November 3rd week - 2012
Question – Delhi people have asked the relationship documents once again (these were submitted to M’sauga office already in Feb-2012). One of the document they have asked for, “Certified copy of your sponsor’s old Indian passport showing the sponsor’s name and the parent’s names”
I need to know what do they mean by “Certified copy”…?? Does that mean a true copy stamp? I have my old (cancelled) Indian passport.
true copy should work. I had sent copy of my old passport as proof of relationship without true copy stamp and it worked.
In my case, CIC (Ottawa) didn't mention old passport as an option for relationship proof but I had no other document.

Success is Never Ending and Failure is Never Final.
My parents passport expires after few days of VISA validity (Aug 2013). My parents have plan for landing in May 2013.
I found http://www.canada-city.ca/canada-immigration/posting.php?messageid=32950 link and it mentions that if Passport is not valid for 6 months from travelling date, it can give you the trouble in the country where you have connecting flights. In my case, my parents will travel through London (UK). Do you think there could be any problem for travling?
I was thinking to renew passport in India before landing but not sure that CIC will allow to land with PR VISA stamp on canelled passport.
Thanks,

No, it doesn't say that. This is what it mentions (among other things),
"The medical examination must be performed by one of the licensed doctors shown on the "List of Designated Medical Practitioners". To access this list, please refer to our website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx. If you and/or your spouse are outside of your home country for an extended period of time, you may see a 'Designated Medical Practitioner' in the country where you are presently residing."
Looks like you have to wait for their response. But, I am sure they will allow you to undergo the medical here in Canada.
