Thanks RBO - do you know roughly how much time takes for this change? days or weeks? I called CIC and they said that the next step may take some time and I was asked to call back in July..I am sure it is a CSR judgement based response, hence looking for some experience from others.

Anyone who sent docs in February have got any response yet ?
I have sent my papers Feb first week... Nothing yet...

Did you get PCC from Consulate in Canada? can you tell me how long it took and what paperwork did you have to present? for eg., do they ask for letter from immigration asking for PCC, did they ask to show visa, date of entry?

Did you receive a letter in the mail (hardcopy) before the status changed? I have noticed that status change takes quite a while online.
