CIC has lots of application now.

what happened in Nov - 2011 when they requested for additional information and given peoeple for 90 days to submit all relevant documents to CIC, after this request some of them acted fast and submited documents within one month.

Now who did fast process and submit the documents in Dec or early January already got respond from CIC and file got trasfered to Ottawa or local office. now rest of the applicaton CIC put on queue so it will be delayed little bit.

I submitted my documents in first week of Dec. 2011 and got approval in January and my file has been trasnfered to local visa office.

Information on this link is interesting..only if the "Visa Target" means final stamping of passport - not just approvals..

Originally, application was submitted in November 2007.

First week of December 2011, I had submitted all forms asked by CIC. CIC return my package in Jan 2012 and asked for birth certificates. I resubmitted my application in Jan 31st 2011 and it reached to Mississauga on 2nd Feb 2012.

I didn't receive any update from CIC after resubmitting my application.

Anyone in same boat?
OR
evernyone received some kind of confirmation who submitted documents before Jan 31st?

I called CIC but they don't have any update other than online status and asked me to just wait. Online status still shows that application received on November 2007.

if your file has approved and transfer to ottawa or home country, what is your online status?

Our parents sponsorship was submitted around same time end of Aug 2007.

They already got medical - two months has been passed , no letter from CIC so assuming medical went ok.

Waiting for next step - i rather say waiting for Visa to be issue.

As per others , it usually take 60 to 90 days after medical - but cant say about CIC since they have so many changes happening in last couple of months.

Any input guys ? how long it will take ( assuming medical result was positive) ?

Sent Docs - 6th Feb
( No Parents Birth Certificate, Sent my Birth Certificate, Parents Marriage Memorandum, Passport Copies of DOB of parent, my cancelled Indian Passport showing parents name, Domicile certificates showing DOB for parents, their school leaving certificates, letter explaining they were born before 1947 and birth certificates cannot be obtained )
I filled the forms and sent it but didn't fill representative form

My Application got approved
3rd April - Received letter stating my application is complete
4th April - Received letter stating it was approved and now in New Delhi

My Online Statuses changed from
Single Line: Application Received ( this was sitting since last year )
Two Lines: Application Received ( with Fathers Name )
Two Lines: Decision Made and Application Received
