Wow, After 12 years, finally CD members are having picnic.
Its been a while since I logged into CD, I am glad that one of the member called me last night and informed me about this picnic.
Unfortunately, I am already tied up with prior commitments, but cannot stop myself seeing you guys at one place.

Hence I will sneak out during the afternoon and will greet fellow CD's

Especially miss you FH, the last time I saw him in 2007 I guess.

PS:don't worry about rain guys, dress lightly and enjoy the drizzile. Also there should be some roofed venues as well (though they might have been booked already) to take shelter incase of down poring,

Looking forward to meet you guys at least for 10 minutes (got to find some excuse with family event)

Please confirm if this is cooling ice for the cooler or ice for drinking water. I don't believe the ice bags from grocery stores/gas stations will work for drinking water.

I will be getting 2 small coolers with ice already in it - won't need more for rest of the day.

Dear M.K. It has been a few long years as you say and like wise would like to get to see you there when you drop in. Those who drop in will benefit a lot and the ones that cannot make it, will never know.

Come hail Come Rain (No snow as yet) the event will go on. But it is for the majority to decide upon the date. Things do change and some of these weather forecasts do fizzle out or the rain clouds do glance off in another direction and head south. Let us watch the weather and a RADAR screen that goes with it. 80% POP is a very high rate. So, we have to take cover.

An event like this for a group that is really a very strong one, calls for more participants. We barely hit the FIFTY mark. It surely is a great start and one good reason might be that many might have headed back home to see their relatives and families. A few may be on the road sightseeing different places. This will give us an idea for organizing future get-together and similar meets.

Thanks for the memories.

Looking forward to it.

FH.

Folks - please correct your name from the list in case you are not attending. We can correct our purchases accordingly.

Does any one have a gazebo or a tent which can be used to stand below in case of a downpour.... Or may be we can make a man held tent with the tarp Chandresh will bring... Don't want the kids to get wet.
