AG - Thanks ..certainly don't mind the qty to be less ..Will order more ;)

However I am sure there are some attendees who are from Brampton and for whom it will be 'on the way' to get the CB ...

Wish to divide things among all so that no one person is burdened with many things..

BPF - The idea of minimizing tentative is to estimate the costs accurately before hand and minimize wastage. Since you are coming alone , you are more than welcome - however for a family - they should be able to know their weekend status beforehand and mark their attendance accordingly.

Folks ,

Also will know on Thursday, what the rain prospects are for Saturday. If rains are expected ( say > 5mm) should we defer the picnic to Sunday / next week ?

The forecast if 4-5mm for friday night/Saturday early morning. I expect the day to be very pleasant.

Thanks for the offer Hiren but tea can be prepared at home .. I am sure some will volunteer. Will save us another equipment from being carried over.

Either way someone has to carry. Preparing there will give us HOT tea and eliminate the need for insulated container.

I am fine either way.

Thanks Hiren again for the dispenser - I hope it is not heavy

I plan to bring it empty, we can fill it with bottle water at the venue and add ice cubes.

Thanks for the weather update Hiren - we will get more accurate ones as we get closer ...I hope its a pleasant day or we will make it into one :)

Chai- Tried and tested remains hot in thermos till evening and mess free as well.. and certainly adds the dash to the end of a picnic.

Agreed with the dispenser - we can ice it and fill in on site.

Calling Brampton wallah attendees -- Please chime in. :)

THE WEATHER..: https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/hourly-weather-forecast/ontario/mississauga

Friday is a total washout. Which means that it is a rainy day. That means we have very little rains for the next day, which is SATURDAY, our PICNIC Day.

It will drizzle from 07:00 (A.M.) to 10:00 (A.M.) just to cool it and then the heat piles on. Looks like a GR8 Day for the PICNIC. I will also watch the link and keep the tab on the hourly forecast.

That is out of the way, for now.

See you there in the park fellows.

FH.

I will surely miss all my fellow posters on this CD Website who will miss this Picnic due to other pressing events. Still, I want to wish them a very nice week end. We are like two ships that traversed the Oceans in the middle of the night, never to meet again.

Hi Fido, I can get the table cloth. However, please note that I won't be there till 2pm. So if that's okay, I will bring the following.

Table cloth
Idli/sambar/chutney
Beverage cooler and couple of bags of ice.
