Prabhu you did not understand jake. He is telling you to analyze your interest, likes & dislikes and then decide what is best for you. In that case also your 1 year senior Vanitha will not be able to guide you. She has proved her interest which may not be your interest. Correct????
I have come across lot of immigrant asking best course or program to go for. Why cannot you realize your interest and then pursue studies it will surely pay you better than a hot pharmacy or 3D animation program.

analyze your interest, likes & dislikes

Sometimes we are forced to do things which we may not like,
I did not get an entry into the engineering branch I liked or the one which I got into I had no intrest ,
As I taught I am good at math so I had to be an Engineer , this is how I taught when I was a child , and also my parents agreed

Anyways there was such a gold rush to IT in late 90's we moved to it !

Now the Question is I cannot Become a Doctor/Actor , and I am working in software filed , ( I have a Mechanical Engineering Degree and MBA in Marketing from India with no experience in both fields),

So where does it leave me ! I consider to be a IT guy ! I have no love towards IT or for that matter any Filed as long as it is going to give me a decent earnings ! One reason why we jumped into IT is the pay , else I would have sticked to the Marketing or something else ,

So My Question is before Comming to canada , I want to know what are my chances in any Field,

I don't mind studying a couple of years if that gets me some where,
I can teach Math upto 10 + 2 , or work in MY IT field,
I can learn new things in MY IT filed too !

But I don't want to avoid Labour Jobs , Is it possible ?

This is almost similar to what Prabhu upto , 45 K ,

What baffels me is in US even a Botony Graduate can find a Job in Software testing without much experience , But in Canada a thorough professionals are having hard time !

May be I am not expressing my views properly , But is there is any specific route that a new immigrant should follow to success ,

Yeah after all these years who made it through immigration one way or other is smart,sucessful , hardworking and definetly has the language and softskills, apart from luck what home work one needs to do to be succesfull ?
