Prabhub I was expecting a reply from you. or a note of acknowledgement that you have read the post.
but what i observe is that you are no longer looking for job in your field. infact you are more interested in labour jobs & that too on your conditions.

what is your opinion Das-FX?

In India, degrees are looked at differently. Here in Canada they really are just pieces of paper. These days anyone can get a degree; it is the other stuff that is special.

Just like a resume, a degree only may get you an interview, after that it is 100% personality. You can be the smartest guy in the world, but if you are socially inept or a jackass, you will not get the job. This is a reality.

Ever since I starting going to school in India, and that was a few decades ago, I have been hearing that in India degrees are just a piece of paper, which anyone can get - even without going to college at times. You brought a new point of view which surprises me.

And what happens when you go to an interview and the guy interviewing you finds you have a better personality than himself - do you think he will embrace you and hire you on the spot because you have a great personality who brings more than 100%?
