Chittesh,

You are also among the one who think that whatever the guys over here says is fine, i can do it once i reach there.

So you are also among the same wrong guys like all us who thought differently from India and were so confident that we can do once we reach , Canada , the land of opportunity.

Every body over there thinks that they will do any thing to settle, like pizza delivery or work in Mcdonald etc. But this is not easy. It would be difficult to get a work even delivering pizza or work in mcdonald as competition is also very intense for that job.

Again i am trying to caution you last time and please remember me when you come here and suffer.

Remember...
"What you think, plan when in India you cannot implement the same here, your thought proces will stop working"

Here it does not matter whether you project mgr or you are Anil Ambani in India.

You can try your luck ,if you are lucky you can get good job else be ready to be labourer. And if you still want to study, make sure you bring enough cash for your tuition as labor will not be enough for you to even maintain a car + Insurance + fuel cost. Let alone the Rent.

We can give you advise but the decision is purely yours. This is not to discourage you but to bring the reality. This is the other side of the coin which may not always be rosy.

All that glitters is not gold. I know now you will also reply me with nice proverbs.

Anyways, Good bye and best of luck

however , if you can do some course in universities with educational loan it will do you good. it is like some one giving you money to be idle and flirt with the girls. you can relax a lot. All exams are open book exams. you can find very easy part time jobs in the campus or just work with your professors for pay. if you work with the professors you can make free calls from their phones to india.
the fun will end when your course ends and you will be required to payt he loan back (7% interest)

Taking a loan and going to the university is like getting paid for flirting with girls.....thats the best one I've ever heard...:)

Well i am coming there on/before 14 Nov thats for sure, even if i start my life there deliviring pizzas is fine with me.

Regarding education, well after working for 6 years i think i should take a break for a 2 years.

So what kind of courses do you suggest for a BE with 6 yrs exp in a american MNC and working as a project manager.

does MBA in Information Systems count as far as jobs are conerned. Any other recommended courses (not certifications) for IT people like me.

Thanks,
chetan

you can go in for a Masters in computer science, but it all depends upon your short and long term goals.

Do not quit your job and come here, i know it'll be hard but try to secure a job in Canada before you buy those plane tickets.
