Their quota for 2015 is between 260,000 and 285,000 new permanent residents.

Notice – Supplementary Information to the 2015 Immigration Levels Plan

November 6, 2014 – In 2015, Canada will welcome between 260,000 and 285,000 new permanent residents.

The 2015 Immigration levels plan supports the government’s economic growth strategy by addressing labour and skills shortages, reuniting families sooner and reducing backlogs.

The economic immigration category will account for the largest segment of the 2015 levels plan, at almost 65 percent of overall admissions.

The remaining 35 percent will consist of family class immigrants, refugees and others admitted under humanitarian programs.

Following the tabling of the 2014 Annual Report to Parliament on Immigration on October 31, 2014, Citizenship and Immigration Canada is pleased to release details on its 2015 Immigration Levels Plan.

If you apply under skilled worker category and your application is approved, you are a PR upon landing. Are you coming on student visa or work permit that you are talking about "achieving PR"?

She had erred in English grammer.

She wants to apply as a permanent resident for immigration and she will immigrate under the skilled worker's catagory.

What adamthroat has done is give a break up of the fee, etc. This information is available easily from cic.gc.ca or is it not? What skepticism has he cleared?

Is she confusing getting PR with getting job. What do you think TK ?

I advice the people from India to please ask somebody WHAT PROFESSION YOU ARE FROM ?? DID YOU WORK IN CANADA IN IT ??? ARE YOU LIVING IN CANADA ??? before following/believing their advice. Poor guys are being scammed...
