I would love to get my hands on "Mirza Ghalib" & "Bharat Ek Khoj" (I have .mp3 of Title - Prithvi ke pahele Sach Nahi tha";) - Specially Shivaji & Mrignayani Episodes.

I hope Pallavi Joshi comes back ... I remember her intense "Alpviram" by Vipul Shah.

How about Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne, I liked the day dreamer in him !! Then there was Subah , thank God, the substance abuse problem never gained momentum in India, the way it has here.

Why don't we guys get together and make a T.V. serial on the life in Canada of people like us on the forum. Any Satyajit Rays in the making here?!

Yes it was the Late Mohan Gokhale.

Mohan Bhandari's other notable appearance was the King in "Mrignayni" :)

Bhai log.. nice that you like this thread. Such memories are sufficient to survive a generation.

You bet ............. this is really anideal thread to spend an evening get together on :p .... Yes that was of course Mohan Gokhale :)

And Subah ... used to be a rage as it was a youth based serial.... Subah ko kar salaam ................ he title song was good too.... Ae zamaane tere ...saamne aa gaye ....is daur ke .. something...naujawaan aaa gaye..... subah ko kar salaam ..........:)

2 unforgettable and personal favorite serials were ' Phir wahi talaash ' ...... I recorded the complete series when it was telecast again and .... not so old... 'dastaan' on zee TV shot in Dubai...... wow those were the days...

There was this 'Satya Ray Presents ' serial ??? in which ther was a very ghothic episode of Dr Sriram Lagoo living as a painter and as a new neighbour approaches him one day he discovers that all the paintings / portraits are of dead people ....... and this new neighbour's painting is also one of the recent ones.................. very haunting tot his day ... does anyone recall this one.
