Do U guys remember Chaya Geet. We used to wait eagerly for that program every week, I think it was every Wed. And them they increased it to twice a week...wow that was a bonus.

Just other day we were flicking channels and were trying to recollect - but could not come with Currently Running good Comedy Serial (Only one - "Office Office"

Boogie Woogie comes little close to good family with lil comedy show. May be because I am fan of Javed Jaffrey. Remember "Videocon Flashback" on Channel [V] ???

wow.....i can now believe how we all somehow take a dip in the past and bring out all those good memories..be it Door Darshan Series or Commercials, i mean Advertisements..

my favorite ones were many ..i guess coz, those days/my days, TV was one of the biggest entertainment avenue other than books and magazines..

starting from "Malgudi Days..."Swaaami.." to Yeh Jo hai zindagi, "Pachchees Saal ka expereince hai.." and from Fauji to Kachhi dhup, and oh yes,

"waagle ki duniya"..we still borough those series from the library and try to match wagle's life somehow with ours in Canada...

Did any one mention Mungaari Laal Ke Haseeen Sapney, Mullla Nasrudin, Potli Baba Ki?
My favourite was Rangoli on Sundays.. By any chance does any one know if we can get any video link or DVD/VHS for these old serials?

Just thinking of this thread last evening and wondering whether it is the TV serials / commercials we cherish or is it those associatd times that we recall which bring a smile to the face..... Waah re Ottawa ke Nerd .. what a thread u have started .....

Mr Yogi !!!! does anybody recall this NRI on a prospective marriage visit to India and meeting diferent ladies who woo him differently..... forgotten the actor's name ...very prominent @ that time..... he passed away some yrs back if I aint wrong....
