Bottomline is if an immigrant has skills to offer and is able to present that to a prospective employer, I don't see why the prospective employer will not hire the immigrant..........

I think, that is what the basic idea of this thread was that an immigrant has skills to offer and 'given a chance' (read loudly: GIVEN A CHANCE), he/she can present that to a prospective employer also but unfortunately, opportunity is not given.
If you read the original post again (for your convenience, I am pasting the line here:
Non-cooperation movement -- against firms that do not give opportunity to immigrants to get into the work force,), you will understand.
Then next you said that you do not see why the prospective employers will not hire the immigrants...........there could be so many reasons and the first and foremost reason (or excuse ) they have is : Canadian Experience. I give you example. This is not about the employment but about something which is very important for everybody here.....Auto Insurance. You have 20 years' experience of driving in your home country or any other country (other than US) , you come here, MTO gives you exemption for G2 and you straight take G but when you ask for insurance, you lose about 22 to 30% discounts because you do not have Canadian Exp. of driving. So you had skills , so were able to present (passed G test straight instead of G2) but still they do not give you good rates. Why? Enlighten me with your theory, please!
If we go by your words, then all those immigrants who could not get a decent job in their own field even if they have had many years of experience and qualifications, they all are INCAPABLE because you do not see any reason why an employer will not hire them.

We are not discussing why Canadian companies do not offer jobs to immigrants but the topic is something else.
Take it easy guys! Jay77 is not talking about any violent protest or rail Roko ya Chakka Jam dharna, he is talking about Non-Cooperation. What is the harm in that?

1) Point system reduce kiya means canada me still skill people ke shortage hey.
2) High point ke bajah se jitane new immigrants Canada ko chahi a iteane nahi mil rahe they, ushki bajjah she point reduce kiya.

All of you prospective immigrants who are waiting for your immigration papers should ask Kap this……..he’s degrading you guys since he suggests that there are no takers for Canadian immigration, yet you are being made to wait for 58 months…….

They say that there is 'Population problem' (reverse trend relative to India) in Canada. I will get the figures later but I believe everyone knows that. We see lot of articles and watch NEWS on TV, STILL IT TAKES ABOUT 6 MONTHS TO ISSUE THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR NEWLY BORN BABIES. So much waiting period........???
Any idea why?

6 months to issue a birth certificate in Ontario?
Have a look at the attached link:
Processing times are as under:
Emergency service: 2 business days
Expedited service: 10 business days
Regular service: 6 - 8 weeks.
Not the same as 6 months.
Ontario processes over 400,000 birth certificates each year.

Kap, in case you haven't noticed, I've told Crenshaw at a couple of places now to not make personal attacks. And I edited SF's post too couple of days back which I felt was a very personal attack. Also, when I noticed you had made a personal attack I pointed that out to you too (although I've allowed a lot of others to pass by without saying anything)
I have ABOLUTELY NOTHING against people who say negative stuff against Canada. But if you say something and someone opposes or questios you on that, don't go into the "Oh, you have a problem with me mode". You have to be able to further your point. If people do that while maintaining some decorum here, I will never interrupt as a moderator.
