Take it easy guys.
No personal attacks, esp. references to race, color, income and physical attributes.

Thanks

Again, I am positive that B'lorean lost his job and he is unable to find another job in this market condition. Otherwise he would be one of the guys to tout / propogate Canada. Read his past posts and see.

Peace by TK

If you meet me, I can show you my nearly six figure salary on a pay stub (I have to print it out from the peoplesoft app but leave that to me)

Absolutely.

Also should have taken a note when somebody said TK is from Sri Lanka. Not that being from Sri Lanka is a bad thing, but I would definitely take an offense if somebody said I was from Swaziland when I am not.

It definitely was said in a derogatory way.

India / Canada comparison and going back to India is always a hot topic on CD. It draws lot of response and pent up emotion.

Maybe we should make a new website AntiCanadiandesi.com

North America is a land of opportunities and a melting pot for all immigrants. Most of my dreams and wishes have come true in this land and I've never regretted being here.

I am 33M, single, working with Fortune 500 Company, earning an annual salary of around $100k, living by myself in an upscale apartment, owning a nice car and having $50K in savings. I am a Canadian Permanent Resident with US GC in progress.

I have experienced all the finer things in life which most others (including Americans) could only dream of and I am thankful to America for providing me with all the blessed things in life within a short span of time.

To me North America is a magic land that turns your dreams and aspirations into realities if you put your mind and focus into it. It gives you health, wealth and happiness if you blend with it and give your best effort. At the same time it kicks out the cowards, pessimists and lazy slobs with extreme prejudice.

Life is short and sweet and you’ve only got one once chance to live. So follow your heart and live a life with no regrets. That’s just me.

PS: I am not trying to draw lines to India with my post. I am just answering to the op’s question of what is so good about North America. So don’t try to counter argue my post with comparisons to India.

Not at all. You have made your point and it is noted.

My spite is with a different faction. Thanks for your post. Wish you all the best...all the way. Cheers mate!
