After coming to canada , i wont forget the Canadian(chinese-german) family who helped me out like thier son to get used to the system.

also the I also wont forget the sikh dude who didnt pay me during my summer job & another indian family who screwed me wid a bad lease.

ADVICE TO NEW Immigrants from India : After coming here your wayyy better off making frnds wid white canadian or others . Indians will just use you up. tat was my experience and same abt my frnd in aussie

Ok, heres the deal am NOT a immigrant am on student VISA and NEVER want to immigrate to canada after studies.

I will give you guys one good TIP to survive in a Multisociety,

1.Classify people as NASTY and NICE , not as blacks & whites or watever.

Nasty ppl may be disprotionately high in some races but its rather due to sociological conditions than genes.

I also want to say POI( ppl of indian decent) are farrrrr less willing to help out
Immigrants assimilate than others . POIs mostly look down onimmigrants from india , they have a air of superiority in them for some unknown reason.

So dont waste your time wid them.

Also i can say from wat i have seem FOBS struggling in here , if you got a income of 40K/mnth in india,Financial yr better off than here UNLESS u come wid a job offer .

Sorry, to say Canada is big beautiful and have lots of nice ppl ( but DAS FX)
but if yr in here to improve financial think twice.

Sure theres a great standard of living , but it comes at a expense. Noe tryin budgeting same $$ for living in India u will have better life there .
And DAS-FX stop eating wefare you hockey bum

I donot think that you can ever think of paying your student loan with a job from india.

Apply for immigration , get it and get a OSAP loan for the remainder of your course. i think that you can apply and get OSAP loan until the last month of your course. Since you are new here , your blood boils. once the system gets you then you will no more be happy but depressed.
you say that the desi's are arrogant and not smiling. did you offer to speak to any of them and return their glaring faces with a smile on your face. if you start speaking with them, then you would have realised that they also wanted to speak to you but something prevented them. you first cut the ice barrier between the desi's . many times we see desi's and think that "hey, i am new to canada but he must have been here for 2 or 3 years. will he speak to me. maybe he is proud and haughty". donot think like that. No desi in canada can be proud and haughy. proudness comes when you are in a good job and welcoming country. 88% chances are that he is a labourer and maybe leading a very pathetic life here as compared to your good life in canada.
Also donot think that a desi owning a house is really rich and introvert. in Canada it takes just a few hundred dollars more tp own (mortgage) a house than rent. again 98% chances are that both he and his wife are labourers.
Also when you see desi's renting , donot think that they are lower than the desi's who own a house. again 99% chances are that they might be highly educated professionals doing either part time labour jobs are still hunting for a job.
I have NEVER seen a Desi make a mark in this country unless he is a IT specialist or in Business. can someone disagree?
