yeah Chandresh, I agree with you.

I feel that maybe Das-FX being born & brought up here, might not understand what people who migrate mid-career from India have had to go thro' to come to India. They have come with their life savings & also left behind their families (not only wife & kids but parents, brothers, sisters, etc.) in many cases. Everybody comes with a positive attitude here thinking that maybe in 1-2 years he might get something in his field & of his level. BUt if that does not happen & he has to lead a hand-to-mouth existence it becomes difficult.

While countries like USA give jobs to people based on their Indian experience in many professions, Canada refuses to do that. After couple of years of working in labour jobs, they give jobs to people based on Indian experience. I don't understand this at all.

It is difficult to work under people with half your experience & skills & teaching you how to work as if you are a newcomer.

Thanks.

I agree with you. But, Das-Fx has no mind to understand this things. He spoke what he wants and ignored the fact that 1000 of new immigrants who has good English command, has good soft skill and have very good degree and work experiences and even though working ODD job because of no job opportunities in Canada and Canada is still welcoming 250,000 new immigrants every year. Still.... Das-Fx has no level to understand this. Sorry Das-Fx but this is FACT.

At the outset, let me say that I appreciate the efforts put in by Jake, Crenshaw and now Das-Fx to bring some positive ness to this forum about life in Canada.

you give me too much credit.

And if I am saying that, it should mean a lot since I am perhaps one of the biggest failures in Canada.

Our families have lived under the same roof and shared food...I have seen how your family functions as a unit and so I do not think you are a failure. However, you do seem to have a different definition of success(compared to me). That too is your right...and you may be correct in our assumptions(even if I choose not to believe it).

However, not withstanding the noble purpose behind your postings – one thing I find common in all three of you is that you guys fail to relate to the general masses and their experiences.

I plead Guilty :) . This is something I have always known. This can be both a good and bad thing depending on the person who is analysing me.
I have since realised that I do not write for the masses...but for myself. So nothing noble about it either :) . I write more in the interest of a balance, at my own convenience for people who may identify with what I write. I guess, simply to feed the ego(probably the same as anybody else here ). Be it venting, debating , advising OR philosophising...the primary fuction is mostly ego feeding.

I appreciate the way Jake writes and explains things – he speaks only for himself and does not generalise his success, nor does he object to some generalisations that many others make. Without directly objecting to generalisations made by others, he simply tells his view, experiences and advises. I have learned a lot from him and changed a lot of views that I had about Canada based on his explanations.

Thanks :) . I have learnt from the others here too. If you can remember...I have not always been writing like I write now. The fact is, like you and me, every one changes at different rates in different directions. Change is a constant and thats why...there's always hope.D

First, show me some stats from a credible source. Also you mention that "who has good english command, has good soft skill and have very good degree and work experiences". This is a subjective statement, good according to who? Who is saying that they command of english was good, who said they had good soft skills? Who said this?

I say and if you want to ckeck it then come on yaar, I will shaw you what you never want to see. Come on. and PM me and fix the date if you have dare.

Dont talk like ..... be bold... come on....
