If conditions are so bad then how people can afford 500k+ home in GTA and get mortgage approval. Does govt not see 500k+ home with a car before providing all these tax payers stealing program (Social Assistance)?

Right now your income can be :

1. $ 1,100 per month Welfare aka Social Assistance from the Government.

2. $ 646 per month for your kid aka Baby bonuses aka Child benefits.

You can also do cash jobs on the side and not show it the government, so they don't cut it from your welfare. Basically welfare fraud, but you gotta do what you gotta do to Survive and put food on the table for your family & roof over their head.

People can't afford $ 500 K houses, its the low mortgage interest rates from banks and very little down payment required in Canada that gives people the FALSE impression that they can afford houses. Its not good salaries which make people afford houses.

Canada has a CREDIT and borrowing mentality, while India still has a CASH mentality. Canadians are busy paying their CREDIT card bills and home Mortgages, with NO savings in their bank accounts.

Mortgage aka Home Loan in India.

Canada : Only 5 % down payment required, so 95 % borrowing.
India : At least 20 % down payment required. Lot of 20:80 schemes.

Canada : 1.9 % Mortgage rate ( Variable aka Floating rate )
India : 9 % Mortgage aka Home Loan rate

Canada : 25 Years Mortgage amortization
India : 20 year Mortgage amortization

So 2 people doing minimum wage survival jobs and working pay check to pay check buy a $ 500 K with only 5 % down payment i.e only $ 25 K , then take 25 years to pay it off at 1.9 % mortgage rate.

For 25 years they live a horrible & miserable & stressful life, to show off their so called $ 500 K , BORROWED/ & on LOAN house in Canada.

Lot of times they can't even keep up with those payments & credit card bills and declare bankruptcy .

Now do you know, how people can afford to buy those so called 500 K houses ? Easy credit & Debt & low interest rates , not good jobs & good salaries. Its NOT their house, its the bank's house. They have very little Equity in that house, most of it is banks money & loans.

Don't be fooled by the big houses & fancy cars DESI people have in Canada, most of them are in DEBT, bought on loans & financing & leasing & borrowing & credit.

Very little of it is bought in cash or paid off. Eventually it all collapses as all those bills, interest charges, borrowing piles up & the house of cards collapses

Indians in India might not have big houses & fancy cars, but at least most of them are not in debt and have cash mentality, not credit mentality. Most of their things are paid off & not on credit card, loans, borrowing, financing, leasing.

Saskatchewan Reopens ‘Occupations In-Demand’ Immigration Sub-Category for Skilled Workers

August 9, 2017 by Hugo O'Doherty

The Canadian province of Saskatchewan will welcome up to 1,200 new applications under the International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand sub-category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) during an intake period that began on August 9.

Applications to this ‘base’ sub-category, which is not aligned with the federal Express Entry immigration selection system, are received on a first-come, first-served basis. No job offer is required in order for an eligible person to submit an application.

A successful application will result in a provincial nomination certificate being issued; with this nomination, the applicant (as well as an accompanying spouse/common-law partner and any dependent children, if applicable) may then apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent resident status.

The current intake period is the third intake of 2017.

EDIT..:
Also the job that you currently do and the job description at work should match the descriptions provided in the NOC Numbers. If they do, then you are in luck. The location that you will be entering will be AN ICE BOX. It will be most of the time in the minus column. The sun light will be a short four hour window. The salary will be comparatively good. Tax break for those who live in the Northern areas is also given. Gas is a few cents cheaper per liter. Good place for starters. Weigh your pros and cons before entering. More on your queries when time permits. I am on a project, so you need to wait. fh.

And my wife has done a Full time MBA (PG - Finance)+MCom. She now runs her own job consulting firm from home.

-Based on above details, could you please suggest me what is the scope for me or my wife finding a job in respective profession ? -Which Provinces offer more opportunity specific to my job profile? I have cued in on New Brunswick (open for any province) , as Atlantic province are running PNP (NB currently closed for foreign national).

-I was looking at the data on CIC site and maximum # of PR issued were for NOC 2171 (2015 & 2016). Does that mean BA have a better probability of finding a job? What could be the struggle - How do I network with people from my profession?, any BA on this Forum?

I would really appreciate you advice on the above queries.

Thanks in advance.

As regards your entry, you MUST get your qualifications analysed and see
if they are equal to any one of the local ones here in Canada. You MUST
have at least ONE set of papers to work here. If not see if you will
be able to qualify for any brokerage exams here. Otherwise your entry
is only through the CSI Certificate and a Mutual Fund certificate which
you can work and obtain after landing. That should be a lot easier.
It will certainly take 4-6 months and also a few bucks. You will also need
a SUPER Computer and a lot of VIRTUAL SPACE to store and then do your
analysis of the local N.A. Stocks and Bonds etc.,

One ting is for sure. You will not starve. One or two Option Contracts
a week will keep you AFLOAT.

Some or most of your DEGREES are of Three year duration and they
carry NO WEIGHT here in Canada. So, you will be back to the drawing
board once more and slog your way into the local stream. So, get all your
degrees VERIFIED By WES and Pay for it. (This is only if you both are
Immigrating as it will be a good chunk of money that goes out
through the window.)

You BOTH will need to do the IELTS and it will take good Six Months there. So, the current openings there in Saskatchewan will slowly evaporate away. Needless to say there will be many more chances for you both here in another province some time soon.

So, I wish you both GOOD LUCK.

Please work with all of the links here under. They will go a long way in getting you settled.

FH.

May I suggest that you please look into that category once more and see if your work schedule and the job description fits or meets with the NOC Category 1112.

Here is an expanded view of it.

http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?CLV=4&CPV=1112&CST=01012011&CVD=122376&Function=getVD&MLV=4&TVD=122372

These NOC Openings will re-appear as time progresses. If you are ready to hop in onto the opportunity at a moments notice, then you are considered ready to get in and you will be here with in SIX Months.

Good Luck. You both are into High Finances and the BUS WILL BE HERE AGAIN. (tomorrow) Same time same route.
