I am totally with you on this and hence when Anna started this andolan - with AK and the gang joining them with much fanfare - I pointed the futility of yet another bill. There are laws already against corruption, the intent to implement them is missing. So to start a whole exercise for a new bill and establish a political movement with the primary object of it was futile.

All said and done - when the lokpal himself/herself is corrupt - who will investigate him/her?

The dictation of 1 person's (Anna's) demands from outside the parliament to the elected representatives was also unacceptable in democracy. It is another matter that most Indians are fond of entertainment and joined the bandwagon to celebrate. No different than millions of FB users adding a rainbow to their profile pic and most recently the French flag - they are all sheeps and will follow the person in front - without knowing the actual purpose.

Anyways, I am digressing - happy weekend everyone.

That's one of the gripe I have with this bill since they introduced it with Anna.

Please do not doubt Mr. Kejriwal . He is the honest person India & Delhi ever had . He is true speaking guy who want to keep Delhi corruption free . As promised by him He is already providing cheap electricity , cheap water , free wifi , CCTV camera and brings Jan Lokpal . We should not question him as people of delhi gave him abrupt majority so by questioning Mr. Kejriwal we are questioning wisdom and belief of Delhi people . I urge all Delhities to support Mr. Kejriwal for true speaking , honest , corruption free AAP ka Delhi .

Do not Believe Mr. Prashan Bhushan , he is not elected by people of delhi . Mr. Kejriwal is elected by delhi people so He is trusted and gauranteed man , just believe your leader and follow him .

In 2014 Kejriwal quit government within 48 days on the issue of Jan Lokpal. That was a drama is clear now from the fact that the Jan Lokpal he wanted to pass in 2014 was quite different from the one he wants to pass now. The man is a bigger_fraud

Everyone is aware of the scripts of the drama king Kejriwal. Nobody wants him now but all Delhi have to face him for full five years. All should be prepared to watch his KEJRINAATYAM for full five years. He is smart enough to make Delhi APRIL FOOL for five years at a time.

The Lokpal being introduced by Delhi Government covers for all the central department

so if in delhi, kerala, bihar or any other state if central govt. employee involve in corruption then kejriwal is responsible?

I think kejriwal to be sent to hospital for detailed investigation!
