i have just returned back to India after working in a very good job for 14 years in canada....just about a month back. so folks if you have any contacts in india send them. right now i have not tried for jobs and am taking a break till january to think....a luxory that i could not afford in Canada. Its not money that got me here....its getting back to my roots. If its money and all the material conformts then you are better off in Canada, if its inner peace...then its India.

I'd have to say the same. You can't count on Canada for a great job/career but you can for many other things.

I'd have to say the same. You can't count on Canada for a great job/career but you can for many other things.

Same here. For inner peace stay in Canada. For rat race for money, go to India.

hey guyz i am talking about real inner peace....not the one where you laugh on the face but your body language is the opposite....i dont know how even the rich in canada can have inner peace with so much mortgage......money off course....even if you work in a convenient store and some how manage to make 1500 $ CAD ....convert that into rupees folks.......as it is north america is all about work....work...and more work.

Inner peace is inner peace, period. There's no question of it being real or unreal. You show me 100 people who laugh on face and thinking otherwise here and I'll show you 1000s who do the same in India.

Work, work, and more work depends upon the individual. Not everyone works 20 hours a day here in Canada. Moreover, North America, India or any other country - it's all about work. If you don't work then you're not good for anything even if you are in India. Try that...

In my opinion, Inner peace or peace of mind doesn't depend upon the country where you live.

Alike others above, I too have more peace of mind here in Canada than India even though my pockets are almost empty at the end of the month. Contrary to popular belief it's not money that makes you happy. This is what I think at least. Entirely depends upon the individual and couldn't generalize. Happiness lies in how much content you are in your life regardless of money, power, surroundings, etc.

I am happy and have a peace of mind, as I do not compare myself to others - no matter the situation and circumstances I am into.
