How long you can be on vacation?

I AM IN SALES HENCE MOVEMENT OR MOBILITY IS AN UNDETACHED PART OF MY LIFE. IN INDIA I USED TO WIN VACATIONS DUE TO MY PROFESSION AND THE SAME WILL CONTINUE HERE. INITIAL LOCATIONS MAY BE LIKE CUBA, EGYPT ETC... YES I SEE PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR VACATIONS IN CANADA THEN INDIA. IF I BOOK A FIVE START RESORT IN INDIA FOR 6/7 DAYS, IT WOULD BE HIGHLY EXPENSIVE BUT HERE I HAVE HEARD THAT YOU CAN SEE THE WORLD IN LESSER COST. HOWEVER I HAVE YET TO VERIFY THE SAME. IN INDIA AFTER SPENDING 33 YEARS I COULD NEVER SEE KASHMIR DUE TO WORKING LIFE, but HERE I AM GONNA MAKE SURE I MOVE OUT TO SEE THE BEUTIFUL WORLD. "SAB BHUMI GOPAL KI".

VJ, you got the point wrong. I think he did not mean vacation, as in what you have understood.

Oh ya,

Thanks for showing my mistake,

So to answer your real question charlie, I can now afford to be on a vacation like this as with the current income, we are able to sustain easily. Although we can move to flats/condos ranging 900/1100 CAD / month in and arround HILCREST, WEB Drive, ELM drive etc.., which attracted us initially, we decided to move to a BASEMENT in our host's semi detached house. This way we will be able to save at least 500 CAD/month. There is no harm for living in a BASEMENT for few months to save money. Moreover if I pass my next and most crucial exam, then I would be up and running in the market as a LIFE INSURANCE BROKER and launch myself. I already finished my RESP license and expecting to earn something in this week....

So waitting for another 30/45 days without my income, would not be a problem for me.

Got it?

Regards,

VJ.

-------VJ you got it wrong twice and I do not want to debate what you can or not afford. It is a personal perspective.

Examination & Certification are costly affair, when are you going to
realise that and feel money is evaporating in volume everyday.

NO I FULLY DIAGREE TO THIS, I HAD MADE AN EXCEL SHEET OF MY FUND FLOW IN CANADA OF THE FIRST ONE YEAR BEFORE COMING. IN FACT I DID NOT PUT ANYTHING ON PLUS SIDE FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS AND SHOWED SETTLEMENT FUNDS GOING AWAY @ 2000 CAD/MONTH. AND THEN SHOWED 2000 CAD/MONTH ON PLUS SIDE FROM THE 4TH MONTH. THE INCOME STARTED FROM THE VERY FIRST MONTH, MOREOVER PLEASE REALISE THAT YOU HAVE TO INVEST SOMETHING TO GAIN MORE. EXAMS AND CERTIFICATIONS ARE YOUR ENHANCERS, THEY ARE NOT EXPENSES. ONE MUST INVEST IN THE SAME TO BE MORE SALEABLE IN THE JOB/BUSINESS MARKET. SO I AM GONNA INVEST AT LEAST 3000 CAD TO ADD MORE ZEROS IN FUTURE IN THAT FIGURE.

-----Once you have attain certificate do you find it worth or other better option would have been to invest money in getting your education enhanced which you missed doing in India from busy schedule.

Did you enjoy responsibility that your company entrusted on you in India?

THE WORD RESPONSIBILITY HAS A VERY DEEP SCIENCE. OIT DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER YOU ARE WORKING IN INDIA OR CANADA. FIRST I BELIEVE YOU SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO YOUR OWN LIFE. YOUR FOCUSED APPROACH TO ACHIEVE YOUR SET TARGETS AUTOMATICALLY MAKES YOU MORE AND MORE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THING YOU DO. SEE YOU CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING, YES I WAS A SENIOR MEMEBR IN MY COMPANY AND HENCE HAD JUSTIFYING RESPONSIBILITIES AS PER THAT ROLE. EVERY "KRA" (key result area) IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONATE TO THE ROLE. I HAVE A DIFFERENT ROLE HERE AND I AM ENJOYING THE RESPONSIBILITIES THE ROLE HAS PUT ON ME. THE END RESULTS OR THE GOAL IS THE SAME........"SUCCESS".

--------I made this statement becuase your msg suggested you were tired of meeting targets and deadlines. That works negative for your personality.

The most import, do your wife like work here or she was more professionaly satisfied in India?

WELL SHE HAS BEEN A BANKER SINCE LAST 5 YEARS NOW. FOR ANY PROFESSIONAL, WHEN HE OR SHE ENTERS IN WORK AREA OF THE SAME FIELD, PLACE DOES NOT MATTER. IN FACT FOR HER ITS MORE ENHANCED. YOU WILL SURELY AGREE THAT WORKING ON KINGS STREET IS EVERY PROFESSIONAL'S WISH AND SHE GOT IT FROM THE 39TH DAY OF HER LANDING. SHE TRAVELS BY GO TRAIN, WHICH TAKES HER IN FEW MINUTES TO HER DESTINATION. AS AT BOTH THE ENDS IT WAS BANKING FOR HER, SHE IS MORE THEN HAPPY.

------Working on King street is not an achievement or career satisfaction. From your msg it appeared she is making a sacrifice at cost of your vacation.

What about her certification and examination?

YES, SHE WOULD SURELY HAVE TO UPGRADE HER PROFILE BY ADDING MORE CERTIFICATIONS. SHE WOULD START HER CSC VERY SOON. THATS WHAT THE PLAN IS. "WORK..EARN..LEARN........AND FINALLY MORE & MORE EARN".

------------I know it is a personal statement and you can choose not to reply. Why you guys gave preference to your developement.

Once again its my case, can't be the same for all.

Regards,

VJ.
