On recommendation of a friend , we visited Deep Novelty on Burnamthorpe left after Mavis (from Square One) and found the food to be good . Buffet is $11/- though we ordered a la carte .

Its adjacent Office Depot .

One restaurant is out of my list permanently now.
Rexdale Sweets and restaurant.
Reason: Very very Poor customer service. The waitress is rude and dirty.
Food is cold and they won't bother heating it up !
I checked their menu before we sat down for dinner buffet. The butter chicken was missing chiken and the waitress said she will put more butter chicken and so we sat down but butter chicken never came and waitress came reminding us that buffet will end in 5 minutes. so we got just 20 minutes to have the dinner.
When Manager was asked for...no response. after i expressed my disaapointment about the service(trust me i was not rude or raised my voice), the waitress said"don't come back if you don't like it.I am not bothered" and after few minutes we saw people from kitchen taking turns to come out while that waitress pointed at us.

Such humiliation that I cannot resist myself spreading the bad "Taste' of mouth!!!!

Brar @ Dixie and Steeles. The place I used to be frequent when I was living in Mississauga. Good food, excellent customer service and reasonable rates. I would love to go there when visit Toronto.

For Arabic cuisine , I would highly recommend Paramount Fine Foods , 1290 Crestlawn Rd (Dixie Eglington) , Mississauga ....

The quality is good and the prices reasonable ........ the good atmosphere is a bonus .

Besides the regular dishes and pies .... you have a good range of Baklawa and Kinafa sweets as well.
