I sent out my application in the first week of October, Should i recieve acknowledgement letter by now as the CIC web site states approx. 2 months to complete this step.
Or should i call CIC.

There is a small confussion.

When we had applied for the citizenship initially, the status at cic.gc.ca indicated that the file was transferred to Mississauga office but today I checked the status again and it says that the file was transfered to Etobicoke office.

Being a resident of Mississauga, how come the file was transferred to Etobicoke office and secondly, what is the timeline for the complete processing of the citizenship application? The file was transfered to Etobicoke office on Oct 03, 2008.

Does anyone has the address of the Etobicoke office?

If I were you I would start calling. October 08 transfer date applicants have taken their test and waiting for oath. It seems like there is some type of error on their part and you correct this in time, I suggest calling. All the best.
