WOW !, Thanks MR for this wonderful lead. I was looking for something like this for sometime now.

I'm at an advanced stage of negotiation for a USD 135K job with GE. The location will be at their Global Corporte Research Center, upstate NY.

Hopefully they should agree for sponsporing my Green Card. If so I'll file for my H-1B immediately, under the 20,000 category for people with US Masters Degree.

This site should do the job for me and its time to switch base from CD to NRIweb!

And I used to beleive that "brain drain" is bad!

Dear MR,

A guy who had a life style of Rs.25 Lakhs + in India and currently on a life style of combined family income of CD $45 - 50 K (total weekly working hours of husband and wife is 110 per week)this is a bonanza. This will be a bonanza/windfall for my family. We will have a good place to live, drive better cars and will be able to have a vacation after 3 years.

I do not want you to sympathize with me, but atleast you could empathize in my shoes!. I always wished that I could communicate such a message from within Canada, but unfortunately that has never happened and I do not see that happening in Canada in the near future. Many a times I feel that Canada does not want me, while big brother US of A is inviting me with an open arm. I'm running here behind head hunters, placement guys and hiring managers asking them to have a look at my resume. While I'm getting calls, unsolicited e-mails from recruiters in US of A, who have looked at my resume in Monster since posting it 3 months ago. I have my resume in Workopolis, atleast 47 recruiters have seen it till date in 2.5 years and I have nil response.

What do I do ?, I need to go where people want me and not where people want me to work below my potential and that to for free !.

I'm very happy now and hopefully this is the end of my current state of affairs. I want to share my joy with the whole world and hopefully there are others who are in similar situation, who would have a reason to hope for in the near future.I cannot give them money, physical help but the only thing I can offer to them is hope.
