i just want to know usually how long after transferring of the file to vancouver office we should write the test and how many days before the test we get the mail.

My Timeline:
Applied: Sept 15, 2008.
Received letter acknowledging receipt of my application: Feb. 15, 2009.
Citizenship test notification: April 11, 2009
Citizenship test date: May 21, 2009.
Currently awaiting oath.

My wife (she got her citizenship already since she came a few months earlier) waited for 3 months between citizenship test and oath. Her total time (from application to oath) was 11 months. This is in Vancouver, of course.

CIC gives about 1 month Time.

They posted letter on 2nd April and got the letter on 6th April 09.

I learned from CIC today that they are "in the process of transferring" my application to the local CIC office here.
Do they transfer the application electronically?
Once it is transferred to the local office, does the status on the website get updated immediately or is there a delay?
