Hello All,

Application Received by CIC on August 1st 2008

Yesterday received Acknowledgment letter dated Oct 22nd 2008.

Online Status still shows " Received"

Hi,

My application was received by CIC on June 25th and I could see the status as "Received" only for me. For my family, we couldn't see any information.

In the end of Nov, my wife called CIC, they said that the file is created and the process hasn't started and asked her to call back in the second week of Jan after the holidays.

But in the first week of Dec, my application changed to "In process". Now, my family is also able to see the status as "In Process". They started processsing our application on Dec.1st.

After 5 months, they started processing the application.

Hi Guys,

An update from my end. I received my citizenship test date. It's on Jan 14, 2009.

My application was received by CIC on June 16, 2008.

Hello Raajen,

Thanks for the post. CIC did receive my application on Jun 27th. I am from Mississauga.

On December 7th. Online status has been changed to IN Process and they started to process my application on Decemer 3rd. I guess we have to keep in touch. please keep me update.
