The infants are not allowed in the oath ceremony. The whole event is like a court process. Though you can take them but it is discouraged.

Hello Raajen,

No news yet bro.They are very slow. I called cic couple week ago, said that security check has been done. They are waiting for the certificate and will transfer the file to mississauga. Cic also said, it might take more than 15 months. But online, status has no change as of today.

Like everyone else mentioned, it was straight forward no tricks but seems like newly printed.

e-CAS finally updated with the oath date...here is my complete timeline from cic oshawa..

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 7, 2008.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called A Look at Canada on August 7, 2008. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on November 21, 2008.

Your file was transferred to the Oshawa office on December 17, 2008. The Oshawa office will contact you if additional information is required. The Oshawa office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.

We sent you a notice on January 16, 2009 to XXXX to appear and write the citizenship test on February 17, 2009 at 9:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

We sent you a notice on March 24, 2009 to XXXX to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on April 21, 2009.
