I get attracted by price tag of 3.99 $ for a shirt in a showroom, but actually it comes out to be cost of tie which is listed boldly over the price of 49.99$ of shirt ( listed in very small letters at unvisible corner).

Canadians are slowly beginning to embrace our culture. At school today during lunch, we had a Diwali celebration in the gym. Many South Asians came to school dressed in their cultural clothing, and they were were folk dancing in the gymnasium to Indian music. Also, on Friday they had an Ifthar dinner, where all the Muslim students broke there fast at school after praying. The students that had a delicious dinner. The teachers who were invited said they had a wonderful time.

Today I volunteered to Scott Mission, a soup kitchen that provides food for the homeless and poor. It was nice to see many people devote their time to helping the unfortunate.

The Canadian way, to fight for its citizens' rights, makes me feel proud of living in Canada.

A recent event of Iranian Canadian journalist-Zahra Kazemi, is one such example.
