Hospital staff is so courteous, helpful and friendly.

In India nurses, ward boys talk to you rudely ( kya hai!!! kya mangta hai ! abhi nahin ayega !!!)

In India doctors think they are god here they are very polite and explain everything in detail.( Same cannot be said of Indian, chinese and russian doctors i have encontered here i.e new immigrants) but gora doctor is like angel.

!!! A doctor doesnt become an angel by the color of his skin .... many indian/immigrant doctors here are also very prefessional and skilled. Infact a very large number of doctors here are foriegn trained and are very well respected. There are bad apples everywhere it could be in any nationality. I agree with the hospital part that the govt hospitals in india.

Btw, are you still in Kolhapur or in Canada... pls update your profile.

Hi,

There are many interesting things about Canada but I would like highlight this incident.

4 weeks after landing, I went for my driving test. I cleared prelims in 1st attempt and was on road test. I only had 3 hours test drive with a Sird driver to get used to the route.

The traffic inspcetor was a lady......" Original Canadian".....she took me places and made me drive thro all sorts of routes...finally i took reverse parking on a crowded street.........

The inspector was surprised and told me " you are great......you drive beautifully".....where are you from ?

I told her that I am from India......she gave me a "one eyebrow raised" look.....wondering how come??????

To her surprise I told her that ..." Madam, orginally I am from India...but the last 10 years I was driving in a place called " Dubai" where roads/bridges/signal systems are better than Canada........and for your info I drive a BMW 5 series..............

That was enough .............. she just opened the door.....and I got the result......"PASS"

You have to pay for everything. And top of that you have to pay taxes. Only good thing in Canada in my mind is free flyer which are there to lure new customer for granted.

You are right desi driller... everyone is here to suffer, got lured by flyers. !! very true...

Now desis are in such bad state of mind and life that they cannot even afford to go back home to start from beginning...

500$(application fees) + 900$(rolf) + 15% of tax on money you bring in, by way of buying anything. so you pay 2900 $ to govt here the moment you put your sacred feet loaded with professional degrees, intelligence and experience. But you need to only do labour jobs here to survive. plus you pay every day, everyweek, everymonth as taxes at the cost of your folks back home.
