You think poor attitudes act differently or think differently about India, or their families or there town? I seriously doubt it. That's there way of life. And having a different view point from mine is not what I mean by poor attitude.

Its not that people who express there happiness of being a part of this community had it any different from the ones expressing grief in terms of opportunities/avenues. All had it the same but approached it differently I guess.

Being successful or not being successful is meaningful only when put up against a benchmark. This can be different for each individual / family. So I think it is up to each one of us to define the bench mark and evaluate if we are successful as yet or still there is way to go. Grounded guys keep it humble and keep raising the bar year over year.

Just because its a repetition of some previous posts. The contents & opinions may be similar, but this is the most important question in a prospective immigrant mind.

"A person/family immigrating to Canada without a complete understanding of the real life situation there, is probably making the biggest mistake of his/her life". Those who take an informed decision are welcome to Canada. But not those who jump into immigration with unrealistic expectations

Better the confused desis find for themselves what is really the truth at their "own expense".

That is precisely what the proponents also want.

But what is heart rending is putting at risk the life and future of innocent housewife and children.

Remember one desi new immigrant writing about his experiences including miscarriage suffered by his wife and dozens giving their sympathies and moral support in this very site. They can do only that and nothing more.
