Even though you have apologize before starting the joke, I would still say this is NOT in very good taste to single out any community, race or religion for making fun. You could have used the words '4 friends' and the readers would still have relished the joke. We have a very good mix of membership on this forum and we all are desis and we should not do any thing to cause any discomfort to any one or leave a bitter taste in any one's mouth.

I hope other members would agree with me on this.

Writing this kind of Joke about any particular community does nothing but cause discomfort to some. In public forum like this where people try to get information and general knowlege this kind of insulting jokes are not required or needed.

Let's keep this forum in good taste for all.

The joke was absolutely a misfit on this site.

We should try to bridge the divide betwen all communities and not further them any more.

Santa Banta Joke Books are available in market and one can always go through them.

There should be some filter mechanism in this site. You never know if any patron posts an offensive message causing a lot of heart burn amongst desis all around the world.

I hope the web administrator will look into this.

Sahib, I have seen many (most) Sardar's joking on themselves. So you are one of them!

That is great!

But as most of the people expressed their opinion, we would like this site for more of a useful information than jokes. We do have Have Fun for having funs, but let us keep it limited.
