I was just kidding with the term NRI Ratna but in reality there is an award for NRIs , I think it is called "Pravsai Bharatiya Samman Award" or something,
Well for TK ( with all due respect) deserves and he is a "CD Ratna" .

I dont see any wrong in the decision of not confering the award till we have the deserving candidate. May the Best Man win!
It is not going to catch fungus if not given away but will surely initiate the attack by these parasite of our Indian politics. I get goose bumps by imagining people like Mayawati Kanshi ram n all getting BR.
Cant we see outside the box for some other civilians who have done or are doing commendable job for the nation.....I wud give it to someone like a Kargil warrior or even a sensible film maker ( see Taare zameen Par or Rang De Basanti)...at least they r touching the hearts and souls of Indians.
