Also depends on what team is selected for the match. Viru had a good outing in the 3 days match, if he is able to stick around for the first two sessions, that should give a good boost to the side.
Winning the toss and batting first is going to be crucial in this game ..... let us see what happens.

* I dont think Bhajji stands a chance to play at Perth. Plenty of Grass, nothing for spinner to grab & turn.

* Viru is always a Lottery when he begins new inning. I hope Jaffer has sorted out his off stump in that 92. He leaves good. So he is key ofcourse with Dravid.

Yes, Bhajji has been dropped for Perth.
I buy that "fast wicket" argument to some degree, but I'm sure the circumstances played a role as well.

It'll be interesting to see if he's picked for the 4th test.

If not, then India would have self-implemented the ban anyway.

The right thing to do for everyone (including ICC) at this time is to drop the charges against Harbhajan completely.

I dont think it has anything to do with circumstances. Infact, he was in contention just because of that.

BTW, did you read - Australia captain Ricky Ponting said India skipper Anil Kumble had asked that the agreement be cancelled after the pair held a meeting to iron out their differences

Yes, it's in the news too.

I don't see what other option Kumble had.
We have obviously lost any trust in Aussie team to be honest on the field (never should have trusted them to begin with).

I think Kumbles made the right judgement in cancelling that informal agreement and deferring all decisions to the umpires.

In the end, India has yielded on most positions - not canceling the tour, agreeing to defer Harbhajan hearing, etc.

So far Australia has yielded nothing.

ICC axed Bucknor, which brough more disrepute to India than any benefit.
