Dhoni hai! Hai.
Again a Pakistani beats team India.
May be Irfan Pathan or Mohammad Kaif or even Mohammad Azharuddin should lead India.
How about converting Pakistani bahu to India ka Baeti by asking her husband Shoaib Malik to lead India and offer him honorary fast track citizenship.
This will be good for frequent flier Modi Saab to visit Pakistan and say bhai-bhai to Nawaz Sharif and company.

India Surrender in Less than Three Days at Old Trafford

MANCHESTER: A listless India capitulated to a humiliating innings and 54 runs defeat in the fourth cricket Test against England with a horrendous batting display that allowed the hosts to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
It was an abject surrender by the Indian batsmen as they were skittled out for a paltry 161 in 43 overs after conceding a 215-run lead to England, who wrapped the match within three days.
It was again off-spinner Moeen Ali (4-39), who plotted India's downfall with the visitors losing nine wickets in the final session of play of the third day's play.
Moeen, with 19 wickets in the series so far, is just two wickets behind James Anderson (21), who is the leading wicket-taker of the series so far.
Cheteshwar Pujara (17), Ajinkya Rahane (1), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (27) and Ravindra Jadeja (4) were Moeen's victims as the off-spinner made the batsmen dance to his tunes.
Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin (48 not out) though did try to spill over the game to the fourth day after stitching a 39-run seventh-wicket partnership but the duo could only delay the inevitable.
Moeen apart, the bowlers came up with another fine display even in the absence of Stuart Broad, who was out injured after getting hit on his nose while batting in the England innings.
Anderson and Chris Jordan picked up two wickets each as Chris Woakes, who shared the new ball with Anderson, started the wickettaking after sending Murali Vijay (18) trapped LBW before the tea break.
The hosts had managed to score 367 in their only innings, which came in reply to India's first innings score of 152 as nearly two session so play was lost due to rain interruptions on Friday.
After the 266-run defeat in Southampton, the visitors have failed to pick up the pieces and now look like a side in complete trouble. Their only win coming at Lord's in the second game.
The two teams will now travel to London for the final match at the Oval starting August 15 with the visitors only having a chance.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.
That is cricket ... the only thing consistent about the game / players is they are inconsistent. Some say that is the specialty of cricket.
Weather Khan leads or Kumar leads ..... it won't change.
Players unfit owing to fractures are sprains or only dropped. May be they should take into account those suffering with dandruff and similar problems. Or at least they must not be allowed to travel in the team bus to and fro their lodge.

BCCI's cricket team at last achieved what had been impossible for the last several decades, except perhaps during the Raja of Vijayarangam days. At leaast in that team of 40s or 50s there was only one Raja, but now there are at least a dozen of them. It is very difficult to extract work from them. Thanks to the God's work ethic, none of them have a series for them to call their own like Gavaskar's 1971 WI tour or Jaisimha''s England tour. They score a century or something slightly less and go into hibernation for the rest of the series. Finally, nobody would refer to the IPL elephant in the room, again thanks to which our players treat a test match no more than T20 match. For everyone including former legends are in IPL payroll. They have found a scapegoat in Duncan Fletcher.

Test matches require staying power and concentration. I don't think the current players lack technique, but they seem to lack the aforementioned two qualities.
Tendulkar and Dravid were perhaps the last two players from India who could fit in the test match mold.
I find 20-20 matches boring as it does not test real skills, including staying power. Test matches are for connoisseurs, not suitable for Gen Y onwards considering the serious attention deficit in these groups. ODI's are the best for most people, and are a reasonable compromise between Champagne and carbonated drinks.
