He will be a Legend and most of all be remembered as a Match Winning Bowler and not one who bowled for statistics and he will be beat Shane Warne.

There will be no Bowler who will play for India in the next fifty years till 2056 who will even remotely come near this record.

Murli is one of the finest bowlers.... but presently he is neither highest wicket taker in ODI or Test matches ..... he still has a long way to go ..... wish him all the best for this long journey....

i doubt the chucker Murli will reach 1000 in test cricket. He is not getting young either. He is in his thirties and the batsman have started reading his bowling well such as the doosra.
