Even Tony Greig went on record saying Australians don't handle adverse situations very well.
I'm glad /someone/ is speaking up.
Quote:I couldn't agree more, jughead.
This Australian team may continue demolishing the opposition, and Ponting may go on to break all batting records, but the West Indies of the 70s and 80s will be the best Cricket team in my opinion.

Last 5 overs remaining as I start writing this ... Hope Kumble & Bhajji manages to draw the match. Tooooo bad we could not win this even after taking more than 20 AUS wickets. Seriously bowlers have done wonders both here as well as at MCG.
Results would have been different if Umpires improve themselves. Even Ishant Sharma was called by Match Refree for showing decent. Hmmm ... Bucknor does not raise finger to something which was more than clear. But I expect some bad umpiring in AUS, no mater which team. But Bucknor has always stodd against IND.
It will be interesting to see what Kumble says at the end of the match. In series against PAK & here in AUS team has discovered new batsman at #8 - captain himself.
3 Overs remaining ...

Guys, check cnnibn.com, go to the video section and there tendulkar who was at the other end of the pitch explains what was said.
This is absolutely rubbish and BS and it seems that the cricketing world is just discriminating against the "Asian" nations, as any thing they (Asian cricketers )do or say is taken in serious context
and
the same when initiated by the whites and their teams is all regarded and termed as " sportsmanship " or "agressive play" or something like that which is 100 % double standards.
I think BCCI should threaten to pull out of ICC for this kind of judgements.
I remeber it did some time back (when ICC was not clearing the dues to BCCI) and they immeidately released all funds.
It is high time that BCCI adopt the same policy.
Also a new twist is BCCI is proceeding with "counter" charges of abusive and offensive language agaist " Brag Hogg " the off spinner now.

In India, for people belonging to religions born in the sub-continent, monkey is revered as God. We believe it is sin to hurt monkeys, as we think it is incarnation of Lord Hanuman.
In the countries where Whites are majority, it is found that people freely talk and curse with the âfâ letter word. Personally, I have heard even women in supervisory cadre use this word. In comedy talk shows, speaker after speaker enjoy uttering the f word. The audience literally laugh and erupt as volcano every time the word is uttered by the speaker and eagerly await the next instant when the speaker is going to utter the word. In India, it is derogatory to utter this word in front of women, let alone in front of audience comprising of celebrities and VIPs like ministers. In one such comedy show, which I happened to watch, it really was disgusting and personally wondered how the parents of the speaker would feel when they hear and see their precious son uttering the word for every third word he spoke. Personally, I think there can be no worse punishment for bearing such a son. One wonders whether their copulation in bringing such an off-spring was done confidentially.
Now we really are aghast that a refree and two witnesses from such a civilization, and from a cricket team which freelyuses that f*** word, sitting together and awarding the match ban punishment to Bhajji from team BCCI.

With this incident (ban on Harbhajan) and the hopeless, disgusting umpring, it's time we must make our presence 'felt' by leaving the tour. Let the Aussies play with themselves.
