And just to clarify, my unhappiness is because I miss my country and I miss my friends and family back home. No amount of success here can change that.

So, to that extent I will continue to be unhappy, no matter what.

valid reasons, for sure. Like I tell my kids...new grades...new opportunities to make new friends. We have a saying in my house "new friends and old friends make more friends". Not very deep I know...but sounds kinda cute coming from kids.
